~ IT'S A LONG LONG JOURNEY ~

It's a long long journey

Till I know where I'm supposed to be
It's a long long journey
And I don't know if can believe
When shadows fall and block my eyes
I am lost and know that I must hide
It's a long long journey
Till I find my way home to you

Many days I've spent driffing on Through empty shores
Wondering what's my purpose
wondering how to make me strong
I know I will falter , I know I will cry
And I need to be close to you

Sometimes it feels no one understand
I don't even know why I do the things I do
when prides bulids me up till I can't see my soul
Will you break down this walls and pull me through

Cause it's a long long journey
till I feel that I'm worth the price
You paid for me on calvary
beaneath those stromy skies

When satan mocks and friends turn to foes
It feels like everthing is out to make me lose control
IT's a long long journey
Till i find my way home to you... to you.

Make A Memory

Hello again... It's you and me
Kinda always like it used to be
Sipping wine, killing time
Trying to solve lifes mysteries

How's your life... It's been awhile
God it's good to see you smile
I see you reaching for your keys
Looking for a reason not to leave

If you don't know, if you should stay
If you don't say, whats on your mind
Baby just breathe
There's nowhere else tonight we should be
You want to make a memory

I dug up this old photograph
Look at all that hair we had
It's bittersweet to hear your laugh
Your phone was ringing I don't wanna ask

If you go now, I'll understand
If you stay, hey, I got a plan
You want to make a memory
You want to steal a piece of time
You can sing the melody to me
And I can write a couple lines
You want to make a memory

If you don't know, if you should stay
And you don't say, whats on your mind
Baby just breathe
There's nowhere else tonight we should be
You want to make a memory
You want to steal a piece of time
You can sing the melody to me
And I can write a couple lines
You want to make a memory
You want to make a memory

Christmas... is not as happening as i expected!

From young i always perceived that christmas must be really fun and happening in western countries. Knowing the fact that it's extremely happening in Singapore.

To my surpirsed, many Aucklander took a long break and heading for holidays with their family and kids. You can see a week b4 everyone were heading out of town and during the christmas week the entire Auckland city was so quiet and peaceful.

As most of the backpackers we were left no where to go but to remain in this boring-dead city... holding the hope that something is up and happening. I worked as a part time during my weekend and my boss decided to throw us a small gathering during christmas eve... though no many turn up, we do had some fun gathering around and had a few drinks of chardonnay, Soulvinon B, Carbenet Merlot etc.... (this is what Nz famous for .... its wineries)

What you should do if you fall sick when you are in foreign country.....
One afternoon me and my housemate was about to get ready for ourshift. We still have 2 hours time to go so both of us were so tempted to head to out favourite Korean BBQ buffet juz along the street.
We indeed had a heaviest lunch ever... with all the mesmerizing dishes laying on the serving table. Delicious Korean Kim Chi, Meats, Vegs, Tibits, Desserts, & not tobe missed the ice cream machince.
Now we both know that we gonna face the trouble to stay awake for the rest of the day. Few hours later, my stomache starts groaning.... i thought i had too much for my lunch. This has been continuously for a long time and i had to go to the loo for several times. The situation got worst and i have to take early off for the day.
My body dy-hydrating... and getting weaker each time. Confirmed then i got food poisioning and this was the worst ever happen in my entire life. I was told medication in overseas is pretty costly, and you cant get medicine from any pharmacies i.e. most of them requires to see if you a letter from the doctor for that particular medicine you request.
I was lucky to have my own first aid kits, which i always take along when i travel/backpack. Even after i had my medicine i was down for another 2 days. After this lessons i told myself, gotta be very careful when eating seafood and what ever meat you eat... owiz make sure its well cook. The Korean and Japanese owiz practice eating raw food like shashimi... eating raw salmon, beef etc. You can only enjoy those food if you are sure the restaurant maintain high quality of food preparation and freshness of the food they serves. And if you travel make sure you have your own first aid kits which contain those medicine you used to have

It's the largest and youngest..... just like me!

Rangitoto Island is the largest, youngest and one of the least modified of about 50 volcanic cones and craters in the Auckland volcanic field. Back in 600 years ago, a series of drastic explosions... a land was erupted from the sea, forming a large volcanic cone and is now extinct. It dominates the local seascape and a visit there is like stepping into another world. The island is a public reserve managed by the Department of Conservation and is famed world-wide as a botanical gem.

We star out journey early, with our groaning empty stomach, we head our way to get a ferry to this undevelop island. Undevelop here, you gotta expect that.. there's no shop, cafe or anything there expect the jetty for the ferry to be on board.

It tooks us 2 hours to make our way to the summit... along with the path way that you could hardly imagine. Crossing all the rocky path, believes to be the formation of lava during the erruption of the island.
